Winter Update

The Winter season is upon us and you've either booked your ski holiday, and are wondering what you can do while you are there, or you're looking at dates for when to go. Here's our rough guide to football matches that you might want to check out.

21/12/11 20.45 INTER vs LECCE Serie A - this will be our first big match of the winter season for those holidaymakers out for the Christmas week. So why not treat yourself to an early Christmas present and visit the amazing San Siro for this last game before the Winter break?

04/01/12 22.00 BARCELONA vs OSASUNA Copa Del Rey - This is the first leg match of the Copa Del Rey and the first game for Barcelona after the Winter Break. They will have one eye on the derby with city rivals Espanyol, and will be hoping to see off Osasuna easily.

7/1/12 20.45 INTER vs PARMA Serie A - these two household names meet in their first game of the New Year. Inter will be wanting to put 2011 behind them after changing coaches 3 times. New Year, New Start? Or New Year Hangover...?

18/1/12 21.00 AC MILAN vs NOVARA Coppa Italia - this is almost a derby as Novara is just 40km from Milan. Last time these two met in the Coppa Italia, Novara were in Serie B, and they brought 10,000 fans with them to the San Siro. How will the Serie A new boys fair against the most successful club in Italy? Available from Cervinia, Champoluc, La Thuile, Courmayeur, Chamonix and Verbier.

19/1/12 21.00 INTER vs GENOA Coppa Italia - this match is not an easy one to call, but Inter have a slight advantage as they are at home and they have a great record in the Coppa Italia in recent years. This could be Genoa's only route to Europe, or they may field a weakened team and concentrate their efforts on the Serie A... Available from Livigno, Passo Tonale, Bardonecchia, Sestriere, Claviere, Montgenevre, Serre Chevalier and Sauze D'Oulx

25/1/12 Coppa Italia 1/4 final TBC - with clubs AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus, Genoa, Novara and Chievo all in the previous round, there's a good chance we'll have a 1/4 final match this week. the draw means it could be Juventus vs Roma/Fiorentina, AC Milan/ Novara vs Lazio, Inter/ Genoa vs Napoli/ Cesena.

1/2/12 20.45 INTER vs PALERMO Serie A - a mid week round of fixtures throws up a tasty tie for us, with a big crowd expected at the San Siro, there will be plenty of superstars, atmosphere and passion on display.

8/2/12 Coppa Italia Semi Final first leg - depending on who gets through and if they play at home in the first leg, but there's a strong chance we'll see some of our big teams at this stage of the competition.

15/2/12 20.45 AC MILAN vs ARSENAL in the Champions League - AC Milan finished second in their group behind Barcelona meaning they play at home in the first leg of the knockout phase. This is probably the game of the round with these two heavyweights meeting in Milan. Please note, we do not have tickets for Arsenal fans or in the away fans section of the ground.

29/2/12 INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLY - We are waiting for the opposition and locations to be confirmed for matched between Spain and also Italy. We have been able to offer games in previous years if they play at the stadiums we operate to.

1/3/12 EXAMPLE in Concert in Milan - 2011 was a massive year for Example and we are looking to organise a coach from Serre Chevalier, Montgenevre, Claviere, Sestriere and Sauze D'Oulx if there is demand.

06/3/12 20.45 BARCELONA vs LEVERKUSEN in the Champions League - The holders of the Champions League come up against tough German opposition in the last 16 of the competition. Lucky for Barcelona, they are currently the best side in the World...

13/3/12 20.45 INTER MILAN vs MARSEILLE in the Champions League - having finished top of their group, Inter have the second leg of their Champions League knockout game at home. Inter need to be careful they do not underestimate the French side...

21/3/12 Coppa Italia Semi Final second leg, business end of the season and expect Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan to still be in with a shout of reaching the final.

21/3/12 BARCELONA VS GRANADA La Liga - This midweek round of La Liga fixtures is yet to be confirmed, but will be on either the Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night as the mighty Barcelona take on newly promoted Granada. Will they be distracted by their Champions League campaign?

27/3/12 Champions League 1/4 final first leg - after a busy winter, who has the legs to make it this far? Players will be keen to impress their International managers as they try to reach the Euros, so expect some stella performances...

3/4/12 Champions League 1/4 final second leg - with all these matches packing in tightly we often get extra Serie A games to offer on a Friday, Saturday or a Monday as they try to accommodate the teams in the later stages of the competition.

11/4/12 JUVENTUS vs LAZIO Serie A - nice fixture to round of the winter. These two teams could be fighting over the title and certainly Champions league places in this must win game. The Stadio Delle Alpi will be packed to the rafters for this crucial game.
