Resorts in Andorra

Andorra has come a long way in the last decade. They have invested in new lifts, more cannons, linked resorts and ski areas and build newer and better hotels. It is the fourth most popular winter sports destination for the British skiers and boarders.

Despite a couple of poor seasons recently, Andorra has a relatively good snow record. It has also invested heavily in wide ranging snow cannons, covering most runs and those prone to less snow, or more sunshine.

Package holidays, beer, equipment rental and tuition are all generally less than the alpes. Suprisingly though the Grandvalira ski pass costs the same as many higher and more extensive ski areas. Andorra is a good destination if you're looking to purchase new equipment as the country is duty free.

Some resorts favour families, while other are packed with large groups of beer drinking lads - so choose wisely so you are not disappointed one way or another.
