Livigno is a high, snow sure, fun and value resort, which is a rare combination. It enjoys duty free status, which is great if you're looking to invest in some new gear. The ski area is pretty high, and because of its location it is cold and fairly snow sure. The ski area isn't massive, and is split over two sides. The resort is very popular with boarders and holds several international competitions here each year.
