Les Deux Alpes
This French resort has some great things going for it. It also has some annoying problems it just can't shake. The resort is high and the view on the glacier is simply stunning. The snow record is good, and there is 42km of glacier skiing you can even hit during the summer months. The lift system is extensive but somehow doesn't really seem to fit together. Also during peak weeks the queues are horrendous, all over the mountain.
The village is extensive and there are loads of restaurants and bars to cater for all tastes. The resort tends to attract a mainly young and lively crowd from across Europe and the bars and clubs accommodate all.
