Coppa Italia - 1/4 finals
Currently Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, Novara and Genoa are all still in the competition and may progress to this stage of the competition.
The 1/4 finals will be held on or around the 26th of January. They are usually on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night. The dates will be confirmed after the last 16 stage. The FIGA will decide the times once they know who has progressed and they look at the Serie A fixtures on the weekends surrounding these dates. The high profile games will be televised and also late kick offs enabling us to go to these fixtures.
This year the format of the competition has changed so there is only one leg of the competition up to quarter final stage. This will add drama to the matches as could lead to extra time and even penalties if there is still deadlock after 120 minutes of play. In the semi finals, there will be a home and away fixture, before the final in Rome in May.
The fixtures we may have (depending on whether the teams play at home are:
Juventus vs Roma/ Fiorentina
Inter/ Genoa vs Napoli/ Cesena
AC Milan/ Novara vs Lazio/ Hellas Verona
